આમ આદમી પાર્ટીમાંથી રાજીનામું આપનાર કૈલાશ ગેહલોત આજે ભાજપમાં જોડાયા છે.

તેમણે આજે ભાજપ મુખ્યાલય ખાતે સત્તાવાર રીતે ભાજપનું સભ્યપદ લીધું.

કૈલાશ ગેહલોતે ભાજપના નેતાઓ મનોહર લાલ ખટ્ટર, દુષ્યંત ગૌતમ અને હર્ષ મલ્હોત્રાની હાજરીમાં ભાજપનું સભ્યપદ લીધું.

કૈલાશ ગેહલોતે રવિવારે જ મંત્રી પદ અને આમ આદમી પાર્ટીમાંથી રાજીનામું આપી દીધું હતું.

ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે કૈલાશ ગેહલોત દિલ્હી સરકારમાં ગૃહ, પરિવહન, આઈટી અને મહિલા અને બાળ વિકાસ સહિત ઘણા મોટા વિભાગોનો હવાલો સંભાળતા હતા.

તેમના અચાનક રાજીનામાના કારણે દિલ્હીના રાજકારણમાં ખળભળાટ મચી ગયો હતો.
