માહિતી મુજબ, પાયલોટ સુરક્ષિત હોવાનું કહેવાય છે. અકસ્માત પછી સામે આવેલી તસવીરોમાં જોવા મળે છે કે પાયલોટ તેના સાથીદારોને ફોન કરીને અકસ્માત વિશે માહિતી આપી રહ્યો હતો. ઘટનાની માહિતી મળતા જ સ્થાનિક વહીવટીતંત્રે તાત્કાલિક એક ટીમ ઘટનાસ્થળે મોકલી હતી. જોકે, આ અકસ્માત પાછળનું કારણ હજુ સુધી જાણી શકાયું નથી. આ દુર્ઘટનામાં વાયુસેનાનું મિરાજ-2000 ટ્રેનર વિમાન ક્રેશ થયું છે.

મધ્યપ્રદેશના શિવપુરી નજીક આજે બે સીટવાળું મિરાજ 2000 ફાઇટર એરક્રાફ્ટ ક્રેશ થયું. આ અકસ્માત ત્યારે થયો જ્યારે તે નિયમિત તાલીમ ઉડાન પર હતો. અકસ્માતનું કારણ જાણવા માટે કોર્ટ ઓફ ઇન્કવાયરીનો આદેશ આપવામાં આવ્યો છે.
