કેન્દ્ર સરકારે ( Central govt ) બ્રોડકાસ્ટિંગ બિલ 2024ને હાલમાં હોલ્ડ ( Hold ) પર રાખવાનો નિર્ણય લીધો છે.

બ્રોડકાસ્ટિંગ બિલ 2024 ( Broadcasting Bill ) ને લઈને વિપક્ષે આરોપ લગાવ્યો હતો કે સંશોધિત ડ્રાફ્ટ સંસદના પટલ પર રાખતા પહેલા અમુક પસંદગીના હિતધારકોની વચ્ચે ગુપ્ત રીતે લીક કરી દીધું હતું.

ડિજિટલ ન્યૂઝ પબ્લિશર્સ અને ઈંડિવિઝુઅલ કોન્ટેંટ ક્રિએટર્સ પણ આ બિલનો વિરોધ કરી રહ્યા હતા.
