દિલ્હી મ્યુનિસિપલ કોર્પોરેશન (MCD) ના મેયર અને ડેપ્યુટી મેયર પદ માટે આજે મતદાન થયું.

ચૂંટણીમાં ભાજપ અને AAP વચ્ચે જોરદાર ટક્કર જોવા મળી હતી. મેયરની ચૂંટણીમાં આમ આદમી પાર્ટીના મેયર પદના ઉમેદવાર મહેશ ખેરીનો વિજય થયો છે.

બંને પદ માટે ચૂંટણીમાં કુલ 284 મતો પડવાના હતા. જેમાં 249 કાઉન્સિલરો, 14 ધારાસભ્યો, 7 લોકસભા સાંસદો અને 3 રાજ્યસભા સાંસદોએ મતદાન કરવાના હતા.

જોકે કુલ 263 મત પડ્યા હતા. જેમાં આમ આદમી પાર્ટીના ઉમેદવારને 133 અને ભાજપના ઉમેદવારને 130 વોટ મળ્યા હતા.
