જમ્મુ-કાશ્મીરના કેન્દ્રશાસિત પ્રદેશ કઠુઆના શિવ નગરમાં એક મકાનમાં ભીષણ આગ લાગી હોવાના અહેવાલ છે.

આ અકસ્માતમાં છ લોકોના શ્વાસ રૂંધાવાથી મોત અને ચાર લોકો ગંભીર રીતે ઘાયલ પણ થયા છે.

કઠુઆ જીએમસીના પ્રિન્સિપાલ એસકે અત્રીએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે આગ એક નિવૃત્ત સહાયક મેટ્રોનના ભાડાના મકાનમાં લાગી હતી.

ઘરમાં હાજર 10 લોકોમાંથી 6 આગમાં મૃત્યુ પામ્યા. એસકે અત્રીએ કહ્યું કે મૃતકોમાં માત્ર પરિવારના સભ્યોનો સમાવેશ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે.
