સામાજિક કાર્યકર્તા મેધા પાટકરની દિલ્હી પોલીસે ધરપકડ કરી છે.

દિલ્હીના વર્તમાન લેફ્ટનન્ટ ગવર્નર વી.કે. સક્સેના સામેના અવમાનના કેસમાં આ કાર્યવાહી કરવામાં આવી છે.

કોર્ટે મેધા પાટકર વિરુદ્ધ બિનજામીનપાત્ર વોરંટ જારી કર્યું હતું. આજે બપોરે તેમને સાકેત કોર્ટમાં રજૂ કરવામાં આવશે.

એલજી વિનય સક્સેનાએ મેધા પાટકર સામે માનહાનિનો કેસ દાખલ કર્યો હતો.

ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે, મેધા પાટકર અને વી.કે. સક્સેના બંને 2000 થી કાનૂની લડાઈ લડી રહ્યા છે, જ્યારે મેધા પાટકરે વીકે સક્સેના વિરુદ્ધ તેમના અને નર્મદા બચાવો આંદોલન (NBA) વિરુદ્ધ જાહેરાત પ્રકાશિત કરવા બદલ કેસ દાખલ કર્યો હતો.
