19 ઓગસ્ટના રોજ ન્યુમોનિયાને કારણે તેમને દિલ્હી AIIMSમાં દાખલ કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. 25 દિવસથી તેમની સારવાર ચાલી રહી હતી.

તેમને લાંબા સમય સુધી ઓક્સિજન સપોર્ટ પર રાખવામાં આવ્યા હતા. કમનસીબે સારવાર દરમિયાન આજે તેમણે અંતિમ શ્વાસ લીધા છે.

પરિવારજનોએ યેચુરીનો પાર્થિવદેહ દિલ્હી એમ્સને ડોનેટ કર્યો છે.
