તેઓ 73 વર્ષના હતા. હૃદય સંબંધિત સમસ્યાઓના કારણે તેમને હોસ્પિટલમાં દાખલ કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા.

તેઓ છેલ્લા બે અઠવાડિયાથી હોસ્પિટલમાં દાખલ હતા પરંતુ બાદમાં તેમની તબિયત બગડવાના કારણે તેમને આઈસીયુમાં દાખલ કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા.

ઝાકિર હુસૈનના પરિવારે સોમવારે સવારે તેમના નિધનની પુષ્ટિ કરી છે

તેમણે કહ્યું કે દુનિયાના ઉત્કૃષ્ટ સંગીતકારોમાંથી એક એવા ઝાકિર હુસૈનનું 73 વર્ષની વયે હ્રદય સંબંધિત સમસ્યાઓના કારણે નિધન થયું છે. તેઓ પોતાની પાછળ એક અભૂતપૂર્વ વારસો છોડી ગયા છે.
