Zubeen Garg: યા અલી’ અને ‘દિલ તૂ હી બતા’ જેવા હિટ ગીતો આપનાર ગાયક જુબિન ગર્ગ હવે આ દુનિયામાં નથી રહ્યા. 19 સપ્ટેમ્બરના રોજ સિંગાપોર માં સ્કૂબા ડાઈવિંગ દરમિયાન થયેલા દુર્ઘટનામાં તેમનું અવસાન થયું. અત્યાર સુધી મૃત્યુનું સાચું કારણ સ્પષ્ટ નહોતું, પરંતુ હવે અસમના મુખ્યમંત્રી હિમંત બિસ્વા સર્મા એ જણાવ્યું છે કે “જુબિનનું અવસાન ડૂબવાથી થયું છે,” જે સિંગાપોર સરકારના ડેથ સર્ટિફિકેટમાં નોંધાયું છે.

20 સપ્ટેમ્બરે જુબિનનો પાર્થિવ શરીર દિલ્હી લાવવામાં આવ્યો અને 21 સપ્ટેમ્બરે ગૌહાટી પહોંચ્યો. ત્યાં હજારો ચાહકો તેમને અંતિમ શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ આપવા ઉમટી પડ્યા. રાજ્ય સરકારે 20 થી 22 સપ્ટેમ્બર સુધી રાજકીય શોક જાહેર કર્યો હતો. જુબિનના અવસાનથી આખું અસમ દુઃખી છે.

CM હિમંત બિસ્વા સર્માએ X (Twitter) પર લખ્યું કે “અસમ કેબિનેટે કમરકુચી ખાતે 10 બીઘા જમીન ફાળવી છે જ્યાં 23 સપ્ટેમ્બરે જુબિનને અંતિમ વિદાય આપવામાં આવશે.” રાજ્યના મંત્રીઓએ એક મિનિટનું મૌન રાખીને શ્રદ્ધાંજલિ આપી.
