- મીડિયા અહેવાલો મુજબ વડાપ્રધાન શેખ હસીનાએ રાજીનામું આપી દીધું છે પરંતુ હજુ સુધી તેની પુષ્ટિ થઈ નથી.
- કહેવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે કે, તે આર્મીના સ્પેશિયલ હેલિકોપ્ટરમાં ભારત જવા રવાના થયા છે.
- બાંગ્લાદેશમાં નોકરીમાં અનામતનો અંત લાવવા અને વડાપ્રધાન શેખ હસીનાના રાજીનામાની માંગ સાથે શાસક પક્ષના વિરોધીઓ અને સમર્થકો વચ્ચે હિંસા ફાટી નીકળી હતી.
- આ લોહિયાળ વિરોધમાં અત્યાર સુધીમાં 14 પોલીસકર્મીઓ સહિત લગભગ 100 લોકોએ જીવ ગુમાવ્યા છે.
