ઇન્ડિયન પ્રીમિયર લીગ (IPL) ના સ્થાપક ભાગેડુ લલિત મોદીને મોટો ઝટકો લાગ્યો છે.

વનુઆતુના વડા પ્રધાન જોથમ નાપટે નાગરિકતા આયોગને લલિત મોદીને જારી કરાયેલ વનુઆતુ પાસપોર્ટ રદ કરવાનો નિર્દેશ આપ્યો છે.

થોડા દિવસો પહેલા લલિત મોદીએ લંડનમાં ભારતીય દૂતાવાસમાં પોતાનો ભારતીય પાસપોર્ટ પણ સરેન્ડર કર્યો હતો.

આવી સ્થિતિમાં લલિત મોદી ‘ન ઘરનો ન ઘાટનો’ જેવી સ્થિતિમાં છે.

મહત્વનું છે કે વનુઆતુ સમૃદ્ધ લોકોને તેમના દેશની નાગરિકતા ખરીદવાની મંજૂરી આપે છે. ત્યાં માત્ર 1.3 કરોડ રૂપિયા ખર્ચીને પાસપોર્ટ મેળવી શકાય છે
