Bhutan: પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદી ( Narendra Modi ) અને ભૂતાનનાં પ્રધાનમંત્રી મહામહિમ ત્શેરિંગ તોબગેએ થિમ્ફુમાં ભારત સરકારની મદદથી નિર્મિત અત્યાધુનિક હોસ્પિટલ ગ્યાલત્સુન જેત્સુન પેમા વાંગચુક મધર એન્ડ ચાઇલ્ડ હોસ્પિટલનું ઉદઘાટન ( Inauguration ) કર્યું.
ભારત સરકારે 150 પથારીવાળી ગ્યાલત્સુએન જેટસન પેમા વાંગચુક મધર એન્ડ ચાઇલ્ડ હોસ્પિટલના ( Gyaltsuen Jetsun Pema Wangchuck Mother and Child Hospital ) વિકાસને બે તબક્કામાં ટેકો આપ્યો છે. હોસ્પિટલનો પ્રથમ તબક્કો રૂ.22 કરોડનાં ખર્ચે તૈયાર થયો હતો અને વર્ષ 2019થી કાર્યરત છે. બીજા તબક્કાનું નિર્માણ કાર્ય 12મી પંચવર્ષીય યોજનાનાં ભાગરૂપે વર્ષ 2019માં રૂ.119 કરોડનાં ખર્ચે હાથ ધરવામાં આવ્યું હતું અને અત્યારે પૂર્ણ થયું છે.

નવી બાંધવામાં આવેલી હોસ્પિટલ ભૂતાનમાં માતા અને બાળ આરોગ્ય સેવાઓની ( health services ) ગુણવત્તામાં મૂલ્યમાં વધારો કરશે. નવી સુવિધામાં પેડિયાટ્રિક્સ, ગાયનેકોલોજી અને ઓબ્સ્ટેટ્રિક્સ, એનેસ્થેસિયોલોજી, ઓપરેશન થિયેટર, નિયોનેટલ ઇન્ટેન્સિવ કેર અને પેડિયાટ્રિક ઇન્ટેન્સિવ કેર માટે અત્યાધુનિક સુવિધાઓ હશે.
