કાસગંજના ચંદન ગુપ્તા હત્યા કેસમાં તમામ 28 દોષિતોને આજીવન કેદની સજા સંભળાવવામાં આવી છે.

6 વર્ષ 11 મહિના અને 7 દિવસની લાંબી રાહ બાદ આજે સજાની જાહેરાત કરવામાં આવી છે.

26 જાન્યુઆરી, 2018ના રોજ યુપીના કાસગંજ જિલ્લામાં તિરંગા યાત્રા દરમિયાન ચંદન ગુપ્તાની હત્યા કરવામાં આવી હતી.

ચંદનના પરિવારે લાંબી કાનૂની લડાઈ લડી અને આજે સજાની જાહેરાત કરવામાં આવી છે.

આજે આ કૌભાંડ કેસના દોષિતોને સજા થઇ છે. આવી સ્થિતિમાં કોર્ટની બહાર કડક સુરક્ષા વ્યવસ્થા કરવામાં આવી છે.

મહત્વનું છે કે ચંદન ગુપ્તા મર્ડર કેસ બાદ કાસગંજમાં ભારે તંગદિલી ફેલાઈ ગઈ હતી. તોડફોડ, આગચંપી અને પથ્થરમારો થયો હતો. આ ઘટનાએ સમગ્ર દેશમાં ખળભળાટ મચાવી દીધો હતો.
