Jhansi Medical College Fire:

ઉત્તર પ્રદેશના ઝાંસી (Jhansi) માં મેડિકલ કોલેજના નિયોનેટલ ઇન્ટેન્સિવ કેર યુનિટ (NICU)માં શુક્રવારે રાત્રે ભીષણ આગ ફાટી નીકળી હતી.

આ અચાનક લાગેલી આગના કારણે નવજાત વોર્ડમાં દાખલ આઠ નવજાત બાળકોના મોત થયા છે. તેમની સંખ્યા હજુ વધવાની આશંકા છે.

મેડિકલ કોલેજના NIKKU (ન્યૂ બોર્ન ઇન્ટેન્સિવ કેર યુનિટ) વોર્ડમાં લગભગ એક ડઝન બાળકોને સઘન સંભાળ એકમમાં રાખવામાં આવ્યા છે.

પ્રાથમિક માહિતી મુજબ વોર્ડમાં શોર્ટ સર્કિટના કારણે આગ રાત્રે 11.40 વાગ્યાની આસપાસ લાગી હતી.
