ઝારખંડના બોકારો જિલ્લાના લુગુ પહાડીઓમાં સુરક્ષા દળો અને નક્સલીઓ વચ્ચે ભીષણ અથડામણ થઈ છે.

આ અથડામણ સુરક્ષા દળોએ 8 નક્સલીઓને ઠાર માર્યા છે. આમાં વિવેક સ્ક્વોડનો પણ સમાવેશ થાય છે, જેના પર 1 કરોડ રૂપિયાનું ઇનામ છે.

ઘટનાસ્થળેથી એક INSAS રાઇફલ, એક સેલ્ફ-લોડિંગ રાઇફલ અને અન્ય વસ્તુઓ મળી આવી હતી.

કહેવામાં આવી રહ્યું છે કે પોલીસનું ઈનામી નક્સલી વિવેક ટુકડી સાથે એન્કાઉન્ટર થયું હતું.

સર્ચ ઓપરેશનની સાથે, મૃત નક્સલીઓની ઓળખ પણ કરવામાં આવી રહી છે.

ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે પોલીસ અને નક્સલવાદીઓ વચ્ચે સમયાંતરે ગોળીબાર ચાલુ રહે છે.
