Sharad Pawar: રાષ્ટ્રવાદી કોંગ્રેસ પાર્ટી શરદચંદ્ર પવારને ચૂંટણી પંચ દ્વારા નવું ચૂંટણી પ્રતીક ( Election symbol ) આપવામાં આવ્યું છે. તેમને ચૂંટણી ચિહ્ન ટ્રમ્પેટ ( Trumpet ) વગાડતો માણસ ફાળવવામાં આવ્યું છે. પાર્ટીએ આજે તેનું ચૂંટણી ચિન્હ લોન્ચ કર્યું છે.
NCP શરદચંદ્ર પવારના ( Nationalist Congress Party Sharadchandra Pawar ) નેતા મહેશ તાપસેએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે, પાર્ટીનું નવું ચિહ્ન શરદ પવારની હાજરીમાં રાયગઢ ( Raigad ) કિલ્લા ખાતે લોન્ચ કરવામાં આવ્યું છે. પાર્ટીનું નવું પ્રતીક ‘ટ્રમ્પેટ વગાડતો માણસ’ જોવા મળે છે. એટલે હવે શરદ પવાર’ મહારાષ્ટ્રમાં રણશિંગુ વગાડશે અને વિરોધીઓના દિલોમાં ડર પેદા કરશે.

ચૂંટણી પંચે ( Election Commission ) ગુરુવારે વરિષ્ઠ પવારના સંગઠનને ટ્રમ્પેટ વગાડતો માણસ પ્રતીક તરીકે ફાળવ્યો હતો. પ્રતિકનું અનાવરણ કર્યા પછી રાયગઢ કિલ્લામાં બોલતા પવારે કહ્યું હતું કે, જે લોકો વધતી મોંઘવારી અને બેરોજગારીને કારણે સંઘર્ષ કરી રહ્યા છે તેમના માટે ટ્રમ્પેટ ખુશી લાવશે.

પવાર (83) એ સામાન્ય માણસના કલ્યાણ અને પ્રગતિ માટે કામ કરતી સરકાર લાવવા માટે તેમના પક્ષના કાર્યકરોનું સમર્થન માંગ્યું હતું. તેમજ રાજ્યના એનસીપીના વડા જયંત પાટીલે નિવેદન આપતા કહ્યું હતું કે, ટ્રમ્પેટ બહાદુરી, વિજય અને લડવાની પ્રેરણાનું પ્રતીક છે.
“અમે છત્રપતિ શિવાજી મહારાજના તે કિલ્લામાંથી આશીર્વાદ માંગીએ છીએ જ્યાં તેમનો રાજ્યાભિષેક થયો હતો, જ્યાં તેમણે તેમના જીવનના છેલ્લા વર્ષો વિતાવ્યા હતા અને જ્યાં તેમની સમાધિ આવેલી છે.”
