Born on 31 March 1865, Anandibai Gopalrao Joshi was one of the first Indian women doctors of Western medicine along with Kadambini Ganguly.

Anandi Gopalrao Joshi : 1865 માં આ દિવસે જન્મેલા, આનંદીબાઈ ગોપાલરાવ જોશી કાદમ્બિની ગાંગુલીની સાથે પશ્ચિમી દવાના પ્રથમ ભારતીય મહિલા ડૉક્ટરોમાંના ( Indian women doctors ) એક હતા. યુનાઇટેડ સ્ટેટ્સમાં પશ્ચિમી ચિકિત્સા વિષયમાં બે વર્ષની ડિગ્રી સાથે અભ્યાસ અને સ્નાતક થનાર ભારતના પૂર્વ બોમ્બે પ્રેસિડન્સીમાંથી તે પ્રથમ મહિલા હતી
