Born on 04 July 1897, Alluri Sitarama Raju was an Indian revolutionary who led an armed campaign against British colonial rule in India.

Alluri Sitarama Raju: 1897 માં આ દિવસે જન્મેલા, અલ્લુરી સીતારામ રાજુ એક ભારતીય ક્રાંતિકારી ( Indian revolutionary ) હતા જેમણે ભારતમાં બ્રિટિશ સંસ્થાનવાદી શાસન સામે સશસ્ત્ર અભિયાન ચલાવ્યું હતું. બ્રિટિશરો પ્રત્યે વધતો જતો અસંતોષ 1922 ના રામ્પા બળવા તરફ દોરી ગયો, જેમાં તેમણે એક નેતા તરીકે મુખ્ય ભાગ ભજવ્યો.
