શનિવારના રોજ તેમણે ડાયમંડ લીગની ફાઈનલમાં 87.86 મીટરનો થ્રો કરી બીજા નંબરે રહ્યો.

26 વર્ષીય એથ્લીટની પાસે ચેમ્પિયન બનવાની તક હતી. પરંતુ ફાઈનલ રાઉન્ડમાં તે માત્ર 1 સેન્ટીમીટરથી ચૂકી ગયો.

આ ટૂર્નામેન્ટ બાદ હવે નીરજ ચોપરાએ સોશિયલ મીડિયા પર એક પોસ્ટ કરીને મોટો ખુલાસો કર્યો છે.

નીરજ ચોપરાએ ખુલાસો કર્યો છે કે, ટ્રેનિંગ સેશન દરમિયાન તેને હાથમાં ઈજા થઈ હોવા છતાં તેણે ડાયમંડ લીગની ફાઇનલમાં ભાગ લીધો હતો.

ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે, નીરજ ચોપરાએ 2022માં ડાયમંડ લીગની ફાઈનલમાં ખિતાબ પોતાને નામ કર્યો હતો.
