Droupadi Murmu Dadra and Nagar Haveli: ભારતના રાષ્ટ્રપતિ, દ્રૌપદી મુર્મુએ આજે સ્વામી વિવેકાનંદ વિદ્યા મંદિર, ઝંડા ચોકનું ઉદ્ઘાટન કર્યું અને સિલવાસામાં , દાદરા અને નગર હવેલી અને દમણ અને દીવ ખાતે જાહેર સમારોહને સંબોધિત કર્યો.
આ પ્રસંગે બોલતા, રાષ્ટ્રપતિએ કહ્યું કે દાદરા અને નગર હવેલી અને દમણ અને દીવના લોકો દ્વારા તેમનું જે ઉષ્માભર્યું સ્વાગત કરવામાં આવ્યું છે તે હંમેશા તેમની યાદમાં કંડારાયેલું રહેશે. તેમણે ઉષ્માભર્યા સ્વાગત માટે આ કેન્દ્રશાસિત પ્રદેશના લોકોનો આભાર માન્યો હતો.
રાષ્ટ્રપતિએ કહ્યું કે તેઓ ઝંડા ચોક શાળાનું ઉદ્ઘાટન કરીને ખુશ છે. તેમણે નોંધ્યું કે UT ( Dadra and Nagar Haveli ) વહીવટીતંત્રએ ઉચ્ચ શિક્ષણને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા માટે ઘણા પ્રયત્નો કર્યા છે. વિદ્યાર્થીઓને ગુણવત્તાયુક્ત ટેકનિકલ શિક્ષણ આપવા માટે 2018માં સરકારી એન્જિનિયરિંગ કૉલેજ ( Swami Vivekananda Vidya Mandir ) શરૂ કરવામાં આવી હતી અને 2022માં NIFTની સ્થાપના કરવામાં આવી હતી. તેમણે વિશ્વાસ વ્યક્ત કર્યો હતો કે આ પ્રયાસો કેન્દ્રશાસિત પ્રદેશના યુવાનો માટે એક મોટી તક પૂરી પાડશે.

રાષ્ટ્રપતિએ ( Droupadi Murmu ) કહ્યું કે આ પ્રદેશ સમૃદ્ધ ઐતિહાસિક, સાંસ્કૃતિક અને પ્રાકૃતિક વારસો ધરાવે છે. આ કારણે દાદરા, નગર હવેલી, દમણ અને દીવ ( Daman and Diu ) સારા પર્યટન સ્થળો છે. પ્રવાસન સુવિધાઓ વિકસાવવા માટે સરકાર દ્વારા ઉઠાવવામાં આવેલા પગલાંની જાણકારી મેળવીને તેઓએ ખુશાલી અનુભવી હતી. તેમણે કહ્યું કે પ્રવાસન ક્ષેત્રે વિસ્તરણ રોજગારની નવી તકોનું સર્જન કરે છે. વિવિધ પ્રદેશોના લોકોને મળવાથી આપણે વધુ ઉદાર અને સંવેદનશીલ બનીએ છીએ.
