પાકિસ્તાનના ક્વેટામાં વધુ એક હાઇપ્રોફાઇલ હત્યાકાંડને અંજામ આપવામાં આવ્યો છે.

મીડિયા રિપોર્ટ મુજબ જમિયત ઉલેમા-એ-ઇસ્લામના એક વરિષ્ઠ નેતાની અજાણ્યા હુમલાખોરોએ ગોળી મારીને હત્યા કરી દીધી.

આ ઘટના ક્વેટાના એરપોર્ટ રોડ પર બની હતી. હુમલાખોરોએ જમિયતના નેતા મુફ્તી અબ્દુલ બાકી નૂરઝાઈ પર ગોળીબાર કર્યો.

દરમિયાન સુરક્ષા દળોએ આ હુમલાની તપાસ શરૂ કરી દીધી છે.

ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે પાકિસ્તાનમાં છેલ્લા કેટલાક સમયથી સતત આતંકવાદી હુમલા થઈ રહ્યા છે. ગઈકાલે ક્વેટાથી તફ્તાન જઈ રહેલા સેનાના કાફલા પર આતંકવાદી હુમલો થયો હતો, જેમાં સાત સૈનિકો માર્યા ગયા હતા
