‘The Bengal Files’ : વિવેક અગ્નિહોત્રી દ્વારા નિર્મિત ફિલ્મ ‘ધ બંગાળ ફાઈલ્સ’ 5 સપ્ટેમ્બર 2025ના રોજ રિલીઝ થઈ હતી, પરંતુ પશ્ચિમ બંગાળમાં તેને સ્ક્રીન કરવામાં મુશ્કેલીઓ આવી રહી છે. થિયેટર માલિકો પર દબાણ હોવાના આરોપો વચ્ચે, ઇન્ડિયન મોશન પિક્ચર પ્રોડ્યૂસર્સ એસોસિએશન (IMPPA)એ વડાપ્રધાન નરેન્દ્ર મોદી ને ચિઠ્ઠી લખી છે અને દખલની માંગ કરી છે

IMPPAની ચિઠ્ઠી: “ફિલ્મને રોકવું બંધારણીય હકનું ઉલ્લંઘન”
IMPPAએ ચિઠ્ઠીમાં લખ્યું છે કે ‘ધ બંગાળ ફાઈલ્સ’ને સેન્ટ્રલ બોર્ડ ઓફ ફિલ્મ સર્ટિફિકેશન (CBFC) પાસ કરી ચૂક્યું છે, એટલે કે તેને રિલીઝ કરવાનો સંપૂર્ણ કાનૂની અધિકાર છે. છતાં, થિયેટર માલિકો પર દબાણ કરીને ફિલ્મને રોકવામાં આવી રહી છે. ચિઠ્ઠીમાં રાજ્ય સરકાર પર પણ આરોપ મૂકવામાં આવ્યો છે કે તે કાયદો અને વ્યવસ્થાનું યોગ્ય વાતાવરણ પૂરું પાડવામાં નિષ્ફળ રહી છે.

ફિલ્મને CBFC દ્વારા ‘A’ સર્ટિફિકેટ મળ્યું છે અને તેમાં કેટલાક સંવેદનશીલ દ્રશ્યોમાં ફેરફાર પણ કરવામાં આવ્યો છે. કલકત્તા હાઈકોર્ટ દ્વારા ફિલ્મના રિલીઝ પર રોક લગાવવાની અરજી ફગાવવામાં આવી હતી, જે IMPPAના દાવાને વધુ મજબૂતી આપે છે કે ફિલ્મને રોકવું કાનૂની રીતે યોગ્ય નથી.
