Mumbai Local : રેલ્વે મંત્રી અશ્વિની વૈષ્ણવ મુંબઈના પ્રવાસે છે. આ સમયે તેમણે લાખો મુંબઈકરોની લાઈફલાઈન લોકલ ટ્રેનમાં મુસાફરી કરી હતી અને મુસાફરો સાથે વાતચીત કરી હતી. તેઓ દક્ષિણ મુંબઈના છત્રપતિ શિવાજી મહારાજ ટર્મિનસ ખાતે બપોરે 2:34 વાગ્યે ટ્રેનમાં ચડ્યો અને 27 કિમીની લાંબી મુસાફરી પછી બપોરે 3:18 વાગ્યે ભાંડુપ સ્ટેશન પર ઉતાર્યા હતા.

રેલવે અધિકારીઓએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે કેન્દ્રીય પ્રધાન, જે એક એવોર્ડ સમારોહ માટે મુંબઈમાં હતા, તેઓ અંબરનાથ જતી લોકલ ટ્રેનના સેકન્ડ ક્લાસ કોચમાં સવાર થયા હતા. અન્ય એક અધિકારીએ જણાવ્યું કે અશ્વિની વૈષ્ણવ પણ ગણેશ ઉત્સવ નિમિત્તે શહેરના એક ગણેશ મંડળની મુલાકાતે છે. મધ્ય રેલવેના જનરલ મેનેજર ધરમ વીર મીના અને અન્ય વરિષ્ઠ અધિકારીઓ ટ્રેનની મુસાફરી દરમિયાન વૈષ્ણવની સાથે હતા.

અધિકારીઓએ જણાવ્યું હતું કે વૈષ્ણવે ફેબ્રુઆરી 2022 માં થાણે અને દિવા સ્ટેશનો વચ્ચે લોકલ ટ્રેનમાં મુસાફરી કરીને બે વધારાની રેલ્વે લાઇનોનું નિરીક્ષણ કર્યું હતું અને તે મુસાફરી દરમિયાન તેણે રસ્તાની બાજુના ભોજનશાળામાં વડાપાવ ખાધો હતો.
