Mumbai Rain : ગત રાતથી મુંબઈના અનેક વિસ્તારોમાં ભારે વરસાદ પડી રહ્યો છે. થોડો સમય વિરામ લીધા બાદ આજે સવારે ફરી વરસાદ શરૂ થયો હતો. જેના કારણે મુંબઈના ઘણા વિસ્તારોમાં પાણી ભરાઈ ગયા હતા જેના કારણે સામાન્ય જનજીવન પ્રભાવિત થયું છે. દરમિયાન બોરીવલીમાં સંજય ગાંધી નેશનલ ખાતે ભારે વરસાદને કારણે, એક ગટર અચાનક ઓવરફ્લો થઈ ગયુ, જેમાં 20 જેટલા પ્રવાસીઓ ફસાઈ ગયા.

Mumbai Rain : વન વિભાગે લોકોને બચાવ્યા
જોકે ગટર ઓવરફ્લો થયા પછી, વન વિભાગને તેમાં ફસાયેલા લોકો વિશે માહિતી મળી, જેના પછી તરત જ વિભાગના કર્મચારીઓ તેમને બચાવવા માટે સ્થળ પર પહોંચ્યા. નાળાની એક બાજુથી બીજી તરફ જવા માટે વિભાગના કર્મચારીઓની મદદથી માનવ સાંકળ બનાવવામાં આવી હતી અને આ સાંકળની મદદથી લોકોને ઝડપથી વહેતી ગટર પાર કરાવવામાં આવી હતી. બધા સુરક્ષિત રીતે બહાર નીકળી ગયા છે.

Mumbai Rain :તુલસી તળાવ ઓવરફ્લો થયું
આ ઘટના ત્યારે બની હતી જ્યારે SGNP ખાતે તુલસી તળાવ ઓવરફ્લો થઇ ગયું હતું અને અવિરત વરસાદને પગલે શનિવારે સવારે 8:30 વાગ્યે નજીકના વિસ્તારોમાં ઓવરફ્લો પાણી ભરાઈ ગયું હતું. મુંબઈમાં છેલ્લા 2 દિવસથી અવિરત વરસાદ થઈ રહ્યો છે. ભારતીય હવામાન વિભાગ (IMD) એ યલો એલર્ટ જારી કર્યું છે અને 20 અને 21 જુલાઈએ શહેરમાં વધુ ભારે વરસાદની આગાહી કરી છે.
શુક્રવારે સવારે 8 થી રાત્રે 9 વાગ્યા સુધીના 13 કલાકમાં શહેરમાં 52.89 મીમી વરસાદ નોંધાયો હતો.
