Surat : ડાંગ જિલ્લાના આહવા તાલુકાના ચીખલી ગામની ૩૦ અને વઘઈ તાલુકાના નગડચોંડ ગામની ૩૦ મળી કુલ ૬૦ મહિલા પશુપાલકોએ આગાખાન સંસ્થા ( AKRSPI ) ના નેતૃત્વ હેઠળ તા.૧૧મી અને ૧૨મીએ સુરતના મહુવાના સણવલ્લા સ્થિત નંદનવન ગૌશાળા અને પ્રાકૃતિક કૃષિ કેન્દ્રની મુલાકાત લીધી હતી.

મહિલા પશુપાલકોને ( Women pastoralists ) દેશી ગાયનું મહત્વ અને તેની માવજત વિષય પર હર્ષ ભરતભાઈ પટેલે માર્ગદર્શન આપ્યું હતું. દેશી ગાયનું ખેતીમાં મહત્વ, ગાય આધારિત પ્રાકૃત્તિક ખેતી, કૃષિ પાકનું મૂલ્યવર્ધન અંગે જિજ્ઞાશુંભાઈએ સમજ આપી હતી. સૌ મહિલાઓને ગૌશાળા અને પ્રાકૃતિક કૃષિ કેન્દ્રના કેમ્પસની ફિલ્ડ વિઝિટ પણ કરાવાઈ હતી. મહિલાઓએ પ્રાકૃતિક કૃષિનું ( Natural Agriculture Centre ) સાર્થક મહત્વ સમજી ગાય આધારિત પ્રાકૃતિક કૃષિને ( Cow-based organic farming ) અપનાવશે એવો સામૂહિક સૂર વ્યક્ત કર્યો હતો.
