Jagdeep Dhankhar Gukesh D: રાજ્યસભાના માનનીય અધ્યક્ષ જગદીપ ધનખરે આજે ઉપલા ગૃહમાં ગુકેશ ડીને સૌથી નાની ઉંમરમાં વિશ્વ ચેસ ચેમ્પિયન બનવા બદલ અભિનંદન પાઠવ્યા હતા. નીચે તેમના શુભેચ્છા સંદેશનો મૂળપાઠ છે:
“માનનીય સભ્યો, હું અત્યંત પ્રસન્નતાની સાથે ભારતીય રમતગમતના ઈતિહાસમાં એક શાનદાર ઉપલબ્ધિ શેર કરું છું, જેણે વૈશ્વિક માપદંડ સ્થાપિત કર્યો છે. આપણા 18 વર્ષીય ચેસ ખેલાડી ડી. ગુકેશે 12મી ડિસેમ્બર, 2024ના રોજ સિંગાપોરમાં એક અદભૂત મુકાબલામાં ચીનના ડીંગ લિરેનને હરાવીને સૌથી નાની ઉંમરના વિશ્વ ચેસ ચેમ્પિયન ( World Chess Championship ) તરીકેની સિદ્ધિ પ્રાપ્ત કરી છે.”
આ અદભૂત વિજય ચેસબોર્ડની ( Gukesh D World Chess Champion ) બહાર પણ ગુંજી રહ્યો છે. જે વૈશ્વિક ક્ષિતિજ પર દરેક ક્ષેત્રમાં ભારતની ઓળખ બનાવે છે. ગુકેશની અભૂતપૂર્વ જીત માત્ર આપણા રમતગમતના વારસાને જ પ્રતિબિંબિત કરતી નથી પણ ભારતમાં સંશોધનનું પ્રતીક પણ છે, જ્યાં યુવા દિગ્ગજો વિશ્વ મંચ પર છવાઈ જવા આતુર છે. આ ઓલિમ્પિક 2036ની યજમાની માટે બીડ લગાડવાના આપણા સંકલ્પને વધુ મજબૂત કરે છે.
