8 અને 9 મે 2025 ની રાત્રે, જમ્મુ ફ્રન્ટિયર બીએસએફના સાંબા સેક્ટરમાં એક મોટા આતંકવાદી જૂથ દ્વારા ઘૂસણખોરીનો પ્રયાસ કરવામાં આવ્યો હતો, જેને ભારતીય સેનાએ નિષ્ફળ બનાવ્યો હતો.

પાકિસ્તાનથી ભારતમાં ઘૂસવાનો પ્રયાસ કરી રહેલા સાત આતંકવાદીઓને BSF એ ઠાર માર્યા છે. શરૂઆતની માહિતીમાં જાણવા મળ્યું છે કે માર્યા ગયેલા આતંકવાદીઓની ઓળખ જૈશ તરીકે થઈ છે.

ભારત-પાકિસ્તાન તણાવ વચ્ચે સરહદ પર સુરક્ષા વધારી દેવામાં આવી છે. સેનાએ સમગ્ર ઘટનાનો એક વીડિયો પણ જાહેર કર્યો છે, જેમાં આતંકવાદીઓની ઘૂસણખોરી અને ગોળીબાર દેખાઈ રહ્યો છે.
