“સામાજિક અને રાજકીય જીવનમાં અમૂલ્ય યોગદાન આપનાર ચિત્તોડગઢના ભૂતપૂર્વ સાંસદ ( BJP MP ) અને મેવાડના રાજવી પરિવારના સભ્ય મહેન્દ્ર સિંહ મેવાડ જીના નિધનથી અત્યંત દુઃખી છું. તેઓ જીવનપર્યંત રાજસ્થાનના ( Mewar ) વારસાને જાળવવામાં અને તેને સુંદર બનાવવામાં રોકાયેલા રહ્યા. તેમણે લોકોની સેવા માટે સંપૂર્ણ સમર્પણ સાથે કામ કર્યું. સમાજ કલ્યાણ માટેનું તેમનું કાર્ય હંમેશા પ્રેરણા સ્ત્રોત બની રહેશે. શોકની આ ઘડીમાં હું તેમના પરિવાર અને પ્રશંસકો પ્રત્યે મારી સંવેદના વ્યક્ત કરું છું. ઓમ શાંતિ!”
