“સુપ્રસિદ્ધ તબલા વાદક ઉસ્તાદ ઝાકિર હુસૈન જીના ( Zakir Hussain ) નિધનથી ખૂબ જ દુઃખ થયું છે. તેમને એક સાચા પ્રતિભાશાળી વ્યક્તિ તરીકે યાદ કરવામાં આવશે જેમણે ભારતીય શાસ્ત્રીય સંગીતની દુનિયામાં ક્રાંતિ લાવી હતી. તેઓ તબલાને વૈશ્વિક મંચ પર પણ લાવ્યા અને પોતાના અપ્રતિમ તાલથી લાખો લોકોને મંત્રમુગ્ધ કર્યા હતા. સંગીતના માધ્યમથી તેમણે ભારતીય શાસ્ત્રીય પરંપરાઓનું વૈશ્વિક સંગીતની સાથે સહજતાથી મિશ્રણ કર્યું, આમ તેઓ સાંસ્કૃતિક એકતાના પ્રતિક બની ગયા હતા.
