ભારતના પ્રધાનમંત્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીના ‘પંચામૃત’ ધ્યેયને અનુરૂપ ઓક્ટોબરમાં રિન્યુએબલ એનર્જીમાં 200 ગીગાવોટનો માઈલસ્ટોન પ્રાપ્ત કર્યો હતો. આ નોંધપાત્ર વૃદ્ધિ 2030 સુધીમાં બિન-અશ્મિભૂત સ્ત્રોતોમાંથી 500 ગીગાવોટ પ્રાપ્ત કરવાના દેશના મહત્વાકાંક્ષી નવીનીકરણીય ઉર્જા લક્ષ્યને અનુરૂપ છે.
