PM Modi: પ્રધાનમંત્રી શ્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીએ આજે કલ્પક્કમ ( Kalpakkam ) ખાતે ભારતના પ્રથમ અને સંપૂર્ણ સ્વદેશી ફાસ્ટ બ્રીડર રિએક્ટરના “કોર લોડિંગ”ના પ્રારંભના સાક્ષી બન્યા હતા.
તેમણે જણાવ્યું હતું કે બ્રીડર રિએક્ટર ( Fast breeder reactor ) , જે વપરાશ કરતાં વધુ ઇંધણનું ઉત્પાદન ( Fuel production ) કરે છે, તે ભારતના વિશાળ થોરિયમ અનામતના અંતિમ ઉપયોગ માટે માર્ગ મોકળો કરશે.
