Shwetha Menon: દક્ષિણ ભારતીય ફિલ્મ ઇન્ડસ્ટ્રીની જાણીતી અભિનેત્રી શ્વેતા મેનન હાલમાં કાયદાકીય વિવાદમાં ફસાઈ ગઈ છે. એર્નાકુલમ સેન્ટ્રલ પોલીસ સ્ટેશનમાં તેની વિરુદ્ધ અશ્લીલતા (Obscenity) ફેલાવવાનો કેસ નોંધાયો છે. ફરીયાદકર્તા એ દાવો કર્યો છે કે શ્વેતાએ કેટલીક ફિલ્મો અને જાહેરાતોમાં નગ્ન અને અશ્લીલ દ્રશ્યો (Scenes) કર્યા છે, જે સોશિયલ મીડિયા અને એડલ્ટ વેબસાઇટ્સ (Websites) પર પ્રસારિત થયા છે.

શ્વેતા મેનન દ્વારા અભિનય કરેલી ફિલ્મો ‘રથિનિર્વેદમ’, ‘પલેરી મણિક્યમ: એક મિડનાઇટ મર્ડર મિસ્ટ્રી’ અને ‘કલીમણ્ણૂ’માં બોલ્ડ દૃશ્યો (Scenes) દર્શાવાયા હતા. આ દૃશ્યોને અશ્લીલ ગણાવીને ફરિયાદ દાખલ કરવામાં આવી છે. ઉપરાંત, કંડોમ (Condom) જાહેરાતમાં પણ તેની હાજરીને લઈને પ્રશ્નો ઉઠાવાયા છે.

ફરિયાદમાં એવો દાવો કરવામાં આવ્યો છે કે આ પ્રકારના કન્ટેન્ટ (Content) યુવાનો પર નકારાત્મક અસર કરે છે અને સમાજમાં ખોટો સંદેશ ફેલાવે છે. પોલીસ દ્વારા આ કેસ પ્રોહિબિશન ઓફ ઓબ્સીનિટી એક્ટ (Act) અને IT એક્ટ હેઠળ નોંધાયો છે.
