અનુરાગ કશ્યપ એ તાજેતર માં એક મીડિયા હાઉસ ને ઇન્ટરવ્યૂ આપ્યો હતો જેમાં તેને જણાવ્યું હતું કે, ‘હું ઇન્ડસ્ટ્રીના લોકોથી દૂર રહેવા માંગુ છું. આ ઇન્ડસ્ટ્રી ટોક્સિક બની ગઈ છે. દરેક વ્યક્તિ અવાસ્તવિક લક્ષ્યો પાછળ છે. દરેક વ્યક્તિ ૫૦૦ કે ૮૦૦ કરોડ રૂપિયા કમાવવા માંગે છે. જે સર્જનાત્મક વાતાવરણ હતું તે હવે ગયું છે.’ અનુરાગના નજીકના સૂત્ર મુજબ દિગ્દર્શક હવે મુંબઈ છોડી બેંગલુરુ શિફ્ટ થઈ ગયા છે.
