મહેશ ભટ્ટ એ એક મીડિયા હાઉસ ને એક ઇન્ટરવ્યૂ આપ્યો હતો જેમાં મહેશ ભટ્ટ ને પૂછવામાં આવ્યું કે તેઓ રાહા ને કઈ ફિલ્મ બતાવવા માંગે છે જેના જવાબ માં મહેશ ભટ્ટે કહ્યું, ‘હું ઈચ્છું છું કે રાહા જ્યારે 16 વર્ષની થાય ત્યારે ‘દિલ હૈ કી માનતા નહીં’ જોવે. આ સૌથી હૃદય સ્પર્શી ફિલ્મોમાંની એક છે. પૂજાએ તેમાં શાનદાર કામ કર્યું હતું અને આમિર ખાન પણ વધુ સારો હતો. આ એક એવી ફિલ્મ છે જે માનવીય હૃદયમાં ગુંજતી છે. મને લાગે છે કે આવી ફિલ્મ પરફેક્ટ હશે.’
