મમતા કુલકર્ણીએ કહ્યું કે આજે કિન્નર અખાડામાં કે બંને અખાડાઓમાં મારા અંગે વિવાદ ચાલી રહ્યો છે, જેના કારણે હું રાજીનામું આપી રહી છું. હું 25 વર્ષથી સાધ્વી છું અને ભવિષ્યમાં પણ સાધ્વી રહીશ.

સોશિયલ મીડિયા પર થોડા દિવસોથી ચાલી રહેલા વિવાદ બાદ મમતા કુલકર્ણીએ આ રાજીનામું આપ્યું છે.

થોડા દિવસ પહેલા મમતા કુલકર્ણીની સાથે લક્ષ્મી નારાયણ ત્રિપાઠીને પણ આચાર્ય મહામંડલેશ્વરના પદ પરથી દૂર કરવામાં આવ્યા હતા. આ કાર્યવાહી કિન્નર અખાડાના સ્થાપક અજય દાસે કરી હતી.
