જેનિફર મિસ્ત્રીએ ગુરચરણ સિંહ ના ગુમ થવા અંગે મીડિયા સાથે વાત કરતા કહ્યું, ‘તે ખૂબ જ આઘાતજનક છે અને હું આશા રાખું છું કે તે સુરક્ષિત હોય. હું માત્ર પ્રાર્થના કરું છું કે તે માત્ર ગેરસમજ હોય અને તે ઠીક હોય. તે ખૂબ જ આધ્યાત્મિક અને સારા વ્યક્તિ છે.’

આ ઉપરાંત જેનિફરે વધુ માં જણાવ્યું કે, ‘હું ગયા જૂનથી તેના સંપર્કમાં નથી. તે પછી અમે એકબીજા સાથે વાત કરી ન હતી. અમે અગાઉ સંપર્કમાં હતા. તેણે મને ફેબ્રુઆરીમાં તારક મહેતાના 4000 એપિસોડ પૂરા કરવા બદલ અભિનંદન સંદેશ મોકલ્યો હતો. આ સિવાય અમે એકબીજાના સંપર્કમાં નહોતા.’
