આજે સાઉથ એક્ટર થલાપતિ વિજયે ચેન્નાઇમાં પોતાની પાર્ટી તમિઝગા વેત્રી કડગમ (TVK)ના ઝંડા અને ચૂંટણી ચિન્હનું અનાવરણ કર્યું છે.

તેમની પાર્ટીનું નામ ‘તમિઝાગા વેત્રી કસાગમ’ છે. તેનો અર્થ ‘તમિલનાડુ વિક્ટરી પાર્ટી’ થાય છે.

મીડિયા રિપોર્ટ અનુસાર, વિજયની પાર્ટી 2026માં વિધાનસભા ચૂંટણી લડશે.

આ પહેલીવાર નથી જ્યારે કોઈ અભિનેતા દક્ષિણમાં રાજકીય નેતા બન્યો હોય. તે દક્ષિણમાં એક પરંપરા છે. અન્ય કલાકારોની જેમ, વિજય થલાપથીએ રાજકીય વળાંક લીધો.
