યુગાન્ડા સ્થિત ઇસ્લામિક ત્રાસવાદીઓ ખિલાફતવાદીઓથી પુષ્ટિ પામેલા રૂવાન્ડાના એમ-૨૩ તરીકે ઓળખાતા બળવાખોરોએ પૂર્વના ગોમા શહેરનો તો કબજો લઈ લીધો છે.

આ બળવાખોરો બુકાવુથી માત્ર ૨૫-૩૦ માઈલ જ દૂર છે.

કોંગોવાદીના મુખત્રિકોણ ઉપર રહેલા પાટનગર કિન્યાસા સ્થિત ભારતીય દૂતાવાસે દેશના પૂર્વ ભાગે રહેલા બુકાવુમાં રહેતા ભારતીઓને તત્કાળ બુકાવુ છોડી દેવા સલાહ આપી છે અને દરેકને આપત્કાલીન પરિસ્થિતિ માટે તૈયાર રહેવા જણાવી દીધું છે.
