ચીનમાં ફેલાઈ રહેલા નવા હ્યુમન મેટાન્યૂમો વાઇરસે (HMPV) સમગ્ર વિશ્વ સાથે ભારતની પણ ચિંતા વધારી દીધી છે

દરમિયાન HMPV પર વિશ્વ આરોગ્ય સંસ્થાની પ્રથમ પ્રતિક્રિયા સામે આવી છે.

WHOએ તેને સામાન્ય વાયરસ ગણાવ્યો છે. સંસ્થાએ કહ્યું છે કે HMPV એટલે કે હ્યુમન મેટાપ્યુમોવાયરસ નવો નથી, તેની ઓળખ 2001માં જ થઈ હતી.

આ એક સામાન્ય વાયરસ છે જે શિયાળા અને વસંત ઋતુમાં ફેલાય છે. શ્વાસ અને સામાન્ય શરદી જેવી ફરિયાદ થઈ શકે છે.

આ વાયરસ લોકોમાં લાંબા સમયથી હાજર છે જે શિયાળાની ઋતુમાં જ પ્રભાવ દર્શાવે છે.
