આજે મ્યાનમારમાં બે શક્તિશાળી ભૂકંપના આંચકા અનુભવાયા છે.

ભૂકંપની અસર મ્યાનમારની સરહદે આવેલા ભારતીય રાજ્યો મણિપુર અને મિઝોરમ તેમજ અન્ય રાજ્યોમાં અનુભવાઈ.

રિક્ટર સ્કેલ પર તેની તીવ્રતા 7.7 માપવામાં આવી હતી અને કેન્દ્રબિંદુ મ્યાનમારના આંતરિક ભાગમાં ઊંડે હતું.

ઘરોમાં બારીઓ, પંખાથી લઈને ટ્યુબલાઈટ સુધી બધું જ ધ્રુજવા લાગ્યું. જોકે આ ભૂકંપના આંચકાઓને કારણે હજુ સુધી કોઈ નુકસાનના સમાચાર નથી.

જણાવી દઈએ કે તેના આંચકા પાડોશી દેશો બાંગ્લાદેશ, ચીન, લાઓસ અને થાઈલેન્ડ અને ભારતમાં અનુભવાયા હતા.
