બંને પ્રધાનમંત્રીઓએ ( Jonas Gahr Store ) દ્વિપક્ષીય સંબંધોમાં પ્રગતિની સમીક્ષા કરી હતી અને વિવિધ ક્ષેત્રોમાં સહકારને વધુ મજબૂત કરવાના માર્ગો પર ચર્ચા કરી હતી. ભારત – યુરોપિયન ફ્રી ટ્રેડ એસોસિયેશન અને ટ્રેડ એન્ડ ઇકોનોમિક પાર્ટનરશિપ એગ્રીમેન્ટ (ભારત-ઇએફટીએ-ટીઇપીએ) પર હસ્તાક્ષરને દ્વિપક્ષીય સંબંધોમાં ( G20 Brasil ) એક મહત્વપૂર્ણ સીમાચિહ્નરૂપ જણાવતા બંને નેતાઓએ નોર્વે સહિત ઇએફટીએ દેશો સાથે ભારતમાં વધુમાં વધુ રોકાણ આકર્ષિત કરવા માટે તેના ( G20 Summit ) મહત્વની પુનઃ પુષ્ટિ કરી હતી.
