PM Modi Nigeria National Award: સ્ટેટ હાઉસ ખાતે એક સમારોહમાં, ફેડરલ રિપબ્લિક ઓફ નાઇજીરીયાના પ્રમુખ, મહામહિમ બોલા અહેમદ ટીનુબુએ પ્રધાનમંત્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીને તેમની રાજનીતિ અને ભારત-નાઈજીરિયા સંબંધોને પ્રોત્સાહન આપવા માટે અદભૂત યોગદાન માટે રાષ્ટ્રીય પુરસ્કાર – “ગ્રાન્ડ કમાન્ડર ઓફ ધ ઓર્ડર ઓફ નાઈજર” એનાયત કર્યો હતો. એવોર્ડ પ્રશસ્તિ નોંધે છે કે પ્રધાનમંત્રીના દૂરંદેશી નેતૃત્વ હેઠળ, ભારત વૈશ્વિક પાવરહાઉસ તરીકે સ્થાન આપવામાં આવ્યું છે, અને તેમના પરિવર્તનકારી શાસને બધા માટે એકતા, શાંતિ અને વહેંચાયેલ સમૃદ્ધિને પ્રોત્સાહન આપ્યું છે.
પુરસ્કાર ( PM Modi Nigeria National Award ) સ્વીકારતી વખતે પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ આ સન્માન ભારતના લોકોને અને ભારત અને નાઈજીરિયા વચ્ચે લાંબા સમયથી ચાલતી ઐતિહાસિક મિત્રતાને સમર્પિત કર્યું હતું. તેમણે વધુમાં જણાવ્યું કે આ માન્યતા બંને દેશો વચ્ચેની વ્યૂહાત્મક ભાગીદારી અને વૈશ્વિક દક્ષિણની આકાંક્ષાઓ પ્રત્યે તેમની ( Nigeria National Award ) સહિયારી પ્રતિબદ્ધતાને રેખાંકિત કરે છે.
