ગુજરાત બાદ હવે આંધ્રપ્રદેશ અને તેલંગાણા બંને રાજ્યોમાં પૂરના કારણે સ્થિતિ દિવસેને દિવસે વધુ ખરાબ થઈ રહી છે.

પૂરના કારણે આંધ્રપ્રદેશમાં 19 અને તેલંગાણામાં 16 લોકોના મોત થયા છે, એટલે કે બંને રાજ્યોમાં 35 લોકોના મોત થયા છે.

બંને રાજ્યોમાં રેકોર્ડ બ્રેક વરસાદને કારણે શહેરો મહાસાગર બની રહ્યા છે. રસ્તાઓ પર માત્ર પાણી જ દેખાઈ રહ્યું છે.

ઘણી જગ્યાએ પાણી ભરાવા અને ટ્રેકને નુકસાન થવાને કારણે 432 ટ્રેનો રદ કરવામાં આવી છે જ્યારે 139ના રૂટમાં ફેરફાર કરવામાં આવ્યો છે.

તેલંગણાના મુખ્યપ્રધાન એ. રેવંત રેડ્ડીએ પૂરમાં માર્યા ગયેલા લોકોના પરિવારોને 5 લાખ રૂપિયાની એક્સ-ગ્રેશિયાની જાહેરાત કરી છે.
