ઝારાખંડમાં હેમંત સોરેને આજે ચોથી વખત મુખ્યમંત્રી તરીકે શપથ લીધા છે.

શપથ ગ્રહણ સમારોહમાં કોંગ્રેસ અધ્યક્ષ મલ્લિકાર્જુન ખડગે, રાહુલ ગાંધી અને ઈન્ડિયા એલાયન્સના તમામ મોટા નેતાઓ હાજર રહ્યા હતા.

ઝારખંડના રાજ્યપાલ સંતોષ કુમાર ગંગવારે હેમંત સોરેનને પદ અને ગુપ્તતાના શપથ લેવડાવ્યા હતા.

વિધાનસભા ચૂંટણીમાં, સોરેને 39,791 મતોના માર્જિનથી ભાજપના ગમલિયાલ હેમરામને હરાવીને બારહેત બેઠક જીતી હતી.

જેએમએમની આગેવાની હેઠળના ગઠબંધને કુલ 81 બેઠકોમાંથી 56 બેઠકો જીતીને વિધાનસભા ચૂંટણીમાં બહુમતી જાળવી રાખી હતી, જ્યારે ભાજપના નેતૃત્વ હેઠળના એનડીએને 24 બેઠકો મળી હતી.
