Jammu Kashmir terror attack :

જમ્મુ-કાશ્મીરમાં વિધાનસભા ચૂંટણી પહેલા સેના અને પોલીસે સંયુક્ત રીતે એક મોટું ઓપરેશન હાથ ધર્યું છે.

કઠુઆ જિલ્લામાં આજે ભારતીય સેનાના વિશેષ દળો અને જમ્મુ-કાશ્મીર પોલીસ દ્વારા સફળ ઓપરેશનમાં ત્રણ આતંકવાદીઓને ઠાર કરવામાં આવ્યા છે.

આ ઓપરેશનમાં ભારતીય સેનાની 1 પેરાશૂટ બટાલિયન, 22 ગઢવાલ રાઈફલ્સ અને જમ્મુ-કાશ્મીર પોલીસનું સ્પેશિયલ ઓપરેશન ગ્રુપ (SOG) સામેલ છે.

ઉલ્લેખનીય છે કે જમ્મુ-કાશ્મીરમાં વિધાનસભાની ચૂંટણી ત્રણ તબક્કામાં યોજાશે. જે 18 સપ્ટેમ્બરથી શરૂ થશે.

સુરક્ષા દળોએ ચૂંટણી પહેલા વિસ્તારમાં સુરક્ષા સુનિશ્ચિત કરવા માટે આ ઓપરેશન હાથ ધર્યું છે.
