તેમણે ગુરુગ્રામની હોસ્પિટલમાં 89 વર્ષની ઉંમરે અંતિમ શ્વાસ લીધા.

મીડિયા રિપોર્ટ મુજબ તેમને હાર્ટ એટેક આવ્યો. જે બાદ તેમને 11.30 વાગ્યે ગુરુગ્રામની મેદાંતા હોસ્પિટલમાં લાવવામાં આવ્યા હતા.

લગભગ અડધા કલાક બાદ બપોરે 12 વાગ્યે તેમણે અંતિમ શ્વાસ લીધા. ચૌટાલા 5 વખત હરિયાણાના મુખ્યમંત્રી રહી ચૂક્યા છે.

આજે સાંજ સુધીમાં, તેમના પાર્થિવ દેહને સિરસામાં તેમના વતન ગામ ચૌટાલા લાવવામાં આવશે. જ્યાં તેમને અંતિમ દર્શન માટે રાખવામાં આવશે. ત્યારબાદ ગામમાં જ તેમના અંતિમ સંસ્કાર કરવામાં આવશે.
