Semiconductor Plant: કેન્દ્ર ની મોદી સરકારે ઇન્ડિયા સેમિકન્ડક્ટર મિશન હેઠળ ઉત્તર પ્રદેશમાં બીજા ‘સેમિકન્ડક્ટર યુનિટ’ની સ્થાપનાને મંજૂરી આપી છે. આ યુનિટની સ્થાપનાથી દેશમાં સેમિકન્ડક્ટર ઉત્પાદન ક્ષમતામાં વધારો થશે. પ્રધાનમંત્રી નરેન્દ્ર મોદીની અધ્યક્ષતામાં 14 મેના રોજ યોજાયેલી કેન્દ્રીય મંત્રીમંડળની બેઠકમાં, દેશનો છઠ્ઠો સેમિકન્ડક્ટર પ્લાન્ટ સ્થાપવાના પ્રસ્તાવને મંજૂરી આપવામાં આવી છે.

Semiconductor Plant: જેવર એરપોર્ટ નજીક પ્લાન્ટ સ્થાપિત કરવામાં આવશે
કેન્દ્રીય માહિતી અને પ્રસારણ મંત્રી અશ્વિની વૈષ્ણવે નેશનલ મીડિયા સેન્ટર ખાતે એક પ્રેસ કોન્ફરન્સમાં જણાવ્યું હતું કે આ યુનિટ HCL અને ફોક્સકોનનું સંયુક્ત સાહસ છે. તે યમુના એક્સપ્રેસવે ઔદ્યોગિક વિકાસ સત્તામંડળ વિસ્તારમાં જેવર એરપોર્ટ નજીક સ્થાપિત કરવામાં આવશે. આ પ્રોજેક્ટમાં 3,700 કરોડ રૂપિયાનું રોકાણ કરવામાં આવશે. દેશમાં સ્થાપિત થનારું આ છઠ્ઠું ‘સેમિકન્ડક્ટર યુનિટ’ છે. આ પહેલા, પાંચ યુનિટ બાંધકામના અદ્યતન તબક્કામાં છે.

Semiconductor Plant: ‘ડિસ્પ્લે ડ્રાઇવર ચિપ્સ’નું ઉત્પાદન કરવામાં આવશે
આ પ્લાન્ટનો ઉદ્દેશ્ય મોબાઇલ ફોન, લેપટોપ, ઓટોમોબાઇલ, પીસી અને અન્ય ઉપકરણો માટે ‘ડિસ્પ્લે ડ્રાઇવર ચિપ્સ’ બનાવવાનો છે. આ પ્લાન્ટ દર મહિને 20 હજાર ચિપ્સ માટે ડિઝાઇન કરવામાં આવ્યો છે. તેની ડિઝાઇન આઉટપુટ ક્ષમતા દર મહિને 3.6 કરોડ યુનિટ હશે.
