કર્ણાટકના પૂર્વ મુખ્યમંત્રી અને દેશના પૂર્વ વિદેશ મંત્રી એસએમ કૃષ્ણાનું 92 વર્ષની વયે નિધન થયું છે.

તેમણે બેંગલુરુ ખાતેના તેમના નિવાસસ્થાને અંતિમ શ્વાસ લીધા. તેઓ લાંબા સમયથી બીમાર હતા.

તેમનું પૂરું નામ સોમનાહલ્લી મલ્લૈયા કૃષ્ણા હતું.

એસએમ કૃષ્ણા દેશના વરિષ્ઠ રાજકારણીમાંથી એક હતા. તેઓ મહારાષ્ટ્રના પૂર્વ રાજ્યપાલ પણ રહી ચૂક્યા હતા.

કોંગ્રેસના દિગ્ગજ નેતા એસએમ કૃષ્ણા 2017માં ભાજપમાં જોડાયા હતા. તેમને 2023માં પદ્મ વિભૂષણથી નવાજવામાં આવ્યા હતા.
