Jagdeep Dhankhar: ઉપરાષ્ટ્રપતિ શ્રી જગદીપ ધનખરે ફિક્કી લેડીઝ ઓર્ગેનાઇઝેશનના સભ્યોને ( FICCI LADIES ORGANISATION ) નાણાકીય અને સામાજિક પડકારોનો સામનો કરી રહેલી પ્રતિભાશાળી છોકરીઓને હાથમાં રાખવા માટે પ્રોત્સાહિત કર્યા હતા. તેમણે આ પ્રકારનાં સાથસહકારની અપાર અસર પર ભાર મૂક્યો હતો અને જણાવ્યું હતું કે, છોકરીનાં શિક્ષણ અને સુરક્ષામાં સહાયતા કરવાથી અપ્રતિમ સંતોષ અને ખુશી મળી શકે છે.
બાળકીઓના સશક્તિકરણ સાથે સંકળાયેલા સમાજની ઘાતક ભૌમિતિક વૃદ્ધિ પર પ્રકાશ પાડતા શ્રી ધનખરે ( Vice President Of India ) ભારપૂર્વક જણાવ્યું હતું કે, “જ્યારે કોઈ સ્ત્રી કુટુંબના ખર્ચ, પરિવારનું અર્થતંત્ર, કુટુંબનું નિયંત્રણ કરે છે, ત્યારે પરિવારનો વિકાસ નિશ્ચિત છે. છેલ્લાં દસ વર્ષમાં આ કામ મોટા પાયે કરવામાં આવ્યું છે.”

શ્રી ધનખરે સભ્યોને તેમના પરિવારો અને તેની સાથે સંકળાયેલા કોર્પોરેટ્સને પ્રભાવિત કરવા વિનંતી પણ કરી હતી, જેથી છોકરીઓને સશક્ત બનાવવા સીએસઆર પ્રયાસોને ચેનલાઇઝ કરી શકાય. તેમણે માળખાગત સીએસઆર ( CSR ) પહેલોની જરૂરિયાત પર ભાર મૂક્યો હતો, જે અંતિમ માઇલ સુધી પહોંચે છે. સૌથી ઓછી સેવા આપતી છોકરીઓને ટેકો આપીને, ઉપરાષ્ટ્રપતિએ પ્રકાશ પાડ્યો હતો કે, આશા અને તકો પેદા કરી શકાય છે, જે તેમના જીવન પર નોંધપાત્ર અને સકારાત્મક અસર પેદા કરે છે.
ઉપરાષ્ટ્રપતિ સંકુલમાં ફિક્કી ફ્લો ચેન્નાઈ ચેપ્ટરનાં સભ્યો સાથે વાતચીત કરતાં શ્રી ધનખરે મહિલાઓને ( Women ) તેમના ધર્મને ધ્યાનમાં લીધા વિના ન્યાયપૂર્ણ, સમાન સહાય કરવાનાં સંબંધમાં સર્વોચ્ચ અદાલતનાં ચુકાદાને બિરદાવ્યો હતો.
મહિલાઓની મુશ્કેલીઓ પર પ્રકાશ પાડતા શ્રી ધનખરે મહિલાઓના જીવનને સુધારવા માટે સરકાર દ્વારા લેવામાં આવેલી વિવિધ પહેલો પર પ્રકાશ પાડ્યો હતો, જેમ કે દરેક ઘરમાં શૌચાલય, પરવડે તેવા આવાસ, हर नल में जल और हर में नल, મુદ્રા યોજના.

સંસદમાં મહિલા સશક્તિકરણ ( Women Empowerment ) પ્રત્યે પોતાની પ્રતિબદ્ધતાનો પુનરોચ્ચાર કરતાં શ્રી ધનખરે જણાવ્યું હતું કે, જ્યારે રાજ્યસભામાં મહિલા અનામત ખરડો પસાર થયો હતો, ત્યારે 17 મહિલા સાંસદોએ મહત્ત્વપૂર્ણ હોદ્દાઓ પર કબજો જમાવ્યો હતો. પોતાના અને ઉપાધ્યક્ષ સિવાય તમામ મહિલાઓ હતી. તેમણે રાજ્યસભામાં લિંગ પ્રતિનિધિત્વમાં નોંધપાત્ર પ્રગતિ પર ભાર મૂક્યો હતો અને જણાવ્યું હતું કે, એક સમયે પુરુષોનું વર્ચસ્વ ધરાવતા આ ટેબલમાં અત્યારે 50 ટકાથી વધારે મહિલાઓ છે.
મહિલા-સંચાલિત સશક્તિકરણમાં ભારતની હરણફાળનો ઉલ્લેખ કરીને શ્રી ધનખરે વિનમ્ર શરૂઆત કરનારી આદિવાસી મહિલા, ભારતના રાષ્ટ્રપતિ દ્રૌપદી મુર્મુને દેશની પ્રથમ નાગરિક બનતા જોઈને ગર્વની લાગણી વ્યક્ત કરી હતી. પ્રધાનમંત્રીએ કહ્યું હતું કે, “ભારત મહિલા સશક્તિકરણને પરિભાષિત કરી રહ્યું છે. ભારત મહિલા-સંચાલિત સશક્તિકરણને વ્યાખ્યાયિત કરી રહ્યું છે.”
