Nitin Gadkari: કેન્દ્રીય માર્ગ પરિવહન અને ધોરીમાર્ગ મંત્રી શ્રી નીતિન ગડકરીએ એક પોસ્ટમાં જણાવ્યું હતું કે ગુજરાતના ( Gujarat ) પાલનપુર જિલ્લામાં રાષ્ટ્રીય ધોરીમાર્ગ 58ના ખોખરા ગુજરાત બોર્ડર-વિજયનગર-અંતરસુબા-માથાસુર રોડ સેક્શનને પીએસ (પેવ્ડ શોલ્ડર) સાથે 2-લેનમાં અપગ્રેડ કરવા માટે રૂ. 699.19 કરોડ ખર્ચાયા છે જે હાઇબ્રિડ એન્યુઇટી મોડ ( Hybrid Annuity Model ) હેઠળ મંજૂર કરવામાં આવી છે.
શ્રી ગડકરીએ કહ્યું કે નેશનલ હાઈવે-58 ( National Highway 58 ) ગુજરાત અને રાજસ્થાનને ( Rajasthan ) જોડે છે અને અંબાજી મંદિર, ઉદયપુર, પોલો ફોરેસ્ટ અને અન્ય પુરાતત્વીય સ્મારકો અને વિવિધ પ્રવાસન સ્થળોને પણ જોડે છે. રાષ્ટ્રીય ધોરીમાર્ગ 58ના આ વિભાગમાં હાલના સિંગલ/ટુ લેન રોડને પીએસ સાથે 2 લેનમાં અપગ્રેડ કરવાની દરખાસ્ત કરવામાં આવી છે અને તેમાં ડુંગરાળ પ્રદેશમાંથી પસાર થતા 14 ભાગોમાં ફરીથી ગોઠવણીનો સમાવેશ થાય છે. આ પ્રોજેક્ટ વધુ સારી કનેક્ટિવિટી પ્રદાન કરશે અને આ ક્ષેત્રમાં આર્થિક પ્રવૃત્તિઓને વેગ આપશે.
